Greetings!

Today's card features the Friendly Foliage stamp & die bundle and Lovely Stripes embossing folder for the background.

Techniques include dry embossing and heat embossing.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

Heat embossing is always a wow technique, especially when it's white on a dark color, such as is shown here.  It's an easy way to add a beautiful feature to your card without adding extra layers.

Having a quality embossing powder makes all the difference.  The Wow! Embossing Powders are a very fine powder, so stamps with thin lines such the font used on the "Get Well Soon" emboss well and show up beautifully.  If you have a white embossing powder that no longer appears white in the container, it's time for a new one.  I found that out when I replaced the one I had had for years.  I thought it still worked well, until I tried the new one, and realized what a difference it makes.  As with most things, their quality can diminish with time, and are worth the few $$ to replace them.  If yours are yellowing, or your just not getting the solid lines when embossing, it's time for a new powder.
