Greetings!
Today's card features a print from the caramelly colored Radiant Foils as the card base, complementing the cheerful prints from the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Papers. The Radiant Foils are a one sided print, on a nice sturdy white paper, so they work beautifully for card bases. Adding a sentiment with a copper embossing powder continues to carry through the metallic glow of the foils.
Techniques include die cutting and heat embossing.

Beverly's Tip of the Day
When working with these Radiant Foils, handle with care. This foil is a thin layer on top, and easily shows scratches and smudges. The adhesive also sticks strongly to the foil, so placement needs to be correct the first time, as it is very difficult to reposition.
To press the score line, I placed the card under a sheet of paper before sliding my bone folder along the edge to crease, as I didn't want to chance scratching or dulling the finish near the crease.
It's a beautiful specialty paper and as I mentioned in my opening paragraph, works great for card bases. I'll admit, in my 20+ years of stamping, I think this is the first time I've realized the benefit of a one-sided paper as the card base, when it's a thick paper as this one is. Better late than never, right! 😲😄
