Who is Beverly Jackson?

Welcome!  Thank you for wanting to learn more about me.

I have lived in Minnesota since I was six months old and always within about 30 minutes of Minneapolis.

I am currently 57 years old and have been with my husband, Chuck, for 37 years.  I have 1 son, Jacob,  who is married to a wonderful woman, and they have 2 adorable dogs who love tummy scratches from their gramma :). They live within 30 minutes of us so we get to see them often.

I am very passionate about having fun with everything I do!  And I firmly believe hobbies help us lead a healthy, well balanced life.  Creativity feeds our soul.

Why Stampin' Up! ?

I have loved creative endeavors my entire life.  Whether it was sewing, redecorating a room, doing needlework, or coloring and paper crafting, I have been doing it since I was old enough for my mom to trust me with the tools to create with.

At the time I was invited to my first Stampin' Up! workshop by a good friend of mine, I was working as a seamstress and designer for a line of women's clothing.  I enjoyed the workshop, loved the card I made, and because I wanted to earn free stuff, I signed up to host a workshop.  My workshop was a great success, and the demonstrator offered me the option of becoming a demonstrator after seeing my "want list".  I signed up!  I could see how it was much more social than sewing, gave me the opportunity to meet more creative people, and be part of a team.  That was in 2003.

Stamping provides a way to be social, creative and productive! Whether it's spending a day with a friend, working on wedding invitations with a group, making cards and gifts for fund-raisers, or introducing someone new to the world of stamping and paper crafting, there really is no better way I like to spend my time. (Well, except for time in my flower gardens in the summertime 😊)  My best kind of day with a friend - stamping!

In a world of texting and emailing, I love the value of creating a beautiful handmade card with a personal message and mailing it  to give someone a little something to brighten their day or touch their heart.

I love knowing that everything I need is available from one source.  The quality is exceptional, and I never have to question if things will coordinate.  I love knowing the inks match the card stock, the paper, the accessories, the ribbons - there's never a question.  The catalog provides beautiful samples for every stamp set and style, and there is unlimited inspiration from all the crafters worldwide.  It's a wonderful creative world to be part of.

I slowly built my stamp inventory, built friendships, built a small team, and enjoyed some success.  I was also an orphan, as my upline quit to go back to school, so I just did things on my own.  In early 2012, I resigned to pursue another avenue.  I re-signed up in 2013 with a different upline, and am so happy for my new direct Stampin' Up! family.  I have learned so much from my trainer and mentor, Dawn Olchefske.  Being part of this family has really been a boost for me, and I love sharing all I learn with my customers and my team.  I was blessed enough to have adopted the stamp club I was part of years ago and we have stamped together for 14 years now.

I have seen Stampin' Up! build their company throughout the world, and am so impressed with the integrity and love they do it with.  Shelli Gardner as cofounder and CEO was always an inspiration, and now Sara Douglass, Shelli's daughter,  as CEO has carried the message forward and added her own touch, all with the same passion for the Stampin' Up! family and the products offered.  This company is run with heart, determination, and always from a place of helping others and reaching out.  This is one of the reasons they are so successful.  Inspire.Create.Share aren't just words...it's what Stampin' Up! embodies.
