Harvest Hues Ephemera Happy Halloween Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features pre cut images (stickers) from the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.  This assortment is filled with images to take us right through the fall season, giving us easy pieces to group together however we choose to create fabulous cards.  The Happy Halloween message is from the Oh My Fright stamp set.

To add a little extra to the front panel, I cut 1/4" strips of a Darling Duckling patterned print from the Valley In Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Techniques include simple stamping.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

This ephemera pack has adhesive on the back, so all you have to do is peel off the protective backing and they are ready to adhere to your project.  I did find, however, that it is easier to peel the backing off by removing it from the score line in the middle back of the sticker.  When I tried removing the backing from an edge of the sticker, it was challenging.  More often than not the adhesive or adhesive and a layer of paper wanted to come along.  I found using the piercing end of my Take Your Pick tool to catch the backing along the score line worked well.

• card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Secret Sea cardstock
• 5-1/2 x 2-1/8
• Darling Duckling cardstock
• 1-3/4 x 1-1/8

• 5-1/2 x 1/4" (2)
• Secret Sea Classic Stampin' Pad

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere Secret Sea cardstock to center of folded card front.  Adhere DSP strips at top and bottom edges of cardstock.  Ink "Happy Halloween" with Secret Sea, stamp onto Darling Duckling cardstock, adhere right of center on Secret Sea cardstock.

Punch out, arrange and adhere witches hat, leaves and flowers by hat, and a flower and leaf in upper right of greeting.

Embellish center of flowers with large, med & small In Color Flat Pearls.
