Sweet Words & Labels Ladybug Happiness Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features an assortment of beautifully detailed frames along with sweet messages from the Sweet Words & Labels bundle.  There is an amazing variety of sizes and styles of nested labels in this die set, and I can't believe I waited this long to purchase it!   The accompanying stamp set has the sweetest little words.  A beautifully designed bundle with versatility galore.  If you haven't checked out this online exclusive yet, I encourage you to give it another look.  

The ladybug print from the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Papers (DSP) gives this card a whimsical vibe, and with ladybug embellishments to enhance it, you can't help but feel happy when you look at it!

Beverly's Tip of the Day

It's easy to make a beautiful card that is admired from the outside, however, the inside is just waiting to be eye-catching too!  With the wonderful assortment of labels and messages in this Sweet Words & Labels bundle, it's very easy to find a way to dress up the message on the inside.  Whether you use one of the lovely outline stamps to frame your message or use a die cut or two as I have done in this example, taking time to add a little something extra on the inside really dresses up the entire card.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Sweet Words & Labels bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
• Hope Love & Joy dies
• Barely Blush cardstock 
• card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Calypso Coral cardstock
• 5- x 3-3/4 panel
• 3-5/8 x 1-3/8 for inside label die cut
• Basic Black cardstock
• 3-1/4 x 2-1/4 for label die cut
• Basic White cardstock
• 2-3/4 x 1-3/4 for label die cut
• scraps for flower die cuts
• 3 x 1 for inside label die cut 
• Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper (DSP)
• 4-3/4 x 3-1/2 for large die cut
• 5-1/2 x 3/4 strip for inside
• Black Ink Pad
• Ladybug Garden epoxy shapes
• Moody Palette Glossy dots
• Stampin' Dimensionals
• Mini glue dots
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut DSP with largest die.  Adhere to Calypso Coral cardstock panel, adhere to folded card front.

Ink sentiment with black ink, stamp onto Basic White, die cut with smallest label of that shape, die cut Basic Black from next size up label. 

Adhere label to center of DSP label on card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Die cut 5 flowers from the Hope Love & Joy die set.  Adhere them at the outer edges of the DSP label with mini glue dots.

Place Ladybug Garden Epoxy shapes over some ladybugs on DSP, and scatter a couple more on label and near flowers.  Embellish center of flowers with dark Moody Palette Glossy dots.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Die cut small label from Basic White, framing label from Calypso Coral.  Ink sentiment with black ink, stamp onto Basic White label, adhere to Calypso Coral label.  Adhere to upper inside of card.

Adhere strip of ladybug print DSP near bottom of inside of card.
