Creative Celebrations Magical Christmas Wreath Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features a print from the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Designer Series Papers (DSP) and a greeting from the Magical Christmas Hot Foil dies.  With all the beautiful prints in the DSP pack and multiple greetings in one die, this is a great pairing for stunning cards.

Techniques include metallic magic with the hot foil dies.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

When working with the Hot Foil Die system, I find it helpful to do multiples at a time, especially when using a hot foil die like Magical Christmas.  With the variety of greetings and a few adorable accessories in the die, it's hard to choose just one color for the cardstock and foil.  I chose 5 or 6 cardstock colors plus white, did a variety of foil colors, so now I have an assortment ready to attach to my cards as I make them.  I feel like I'm ahead of the game because the greetings are just waiting to be added to the card.  

The metallic finish to each message adds a touch of elegance to every project.

  • Barely Bluch cardstock 
    • card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Peaceful Pine cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
  • Cloud Cover two tone cardstock
    • 5 x 3-3/4 for entire die
  • Light Pink Hot Foil Rolls
    • 5 x 4 
  • Creative Celebrations Mix & Match 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • print with wreath section (see cutting instructions below)
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Array of Dots
  • Adhesive backed Sparkle Sequins
  • Paper Trimmer

Here's How It's Made:

Cut wreath panel from DSP sheet.


Adhere DSP panel to Peaceful Pine cardstock panel, adhere to folded card front.



Use Hot Foil System and Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies to create messages.


Select message and adhere to wreath using Stampin' Dimensionals.


Embellish with sequins and dots.
