Garden Poetry Lovely Day Wishes Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features products from the vibrant, nature inspired Garden Poetry suite collection.  This suite is perfect for creating stunning handmade cards, with thoughtful sentiment stamps that deliver messages of gratitude, appreciation, and positivity. 


I love the unexpected mix of Blackberry Bliss with the springtime yellows and oranges in the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (DSP) print. 

This layout was inspired by a sample shown on page 23 of the Jan-April mini catalog.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Paradise Garden bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#) This bundle has the added bonus of a hybrid embossing folder included with the dies.
  • Timid Tiger cardstock 
    • card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Blackberry Bliss cardstock
    • 2-3/4 x 1-3/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 2 x 1-1/2 for sentiment
    • scraps for die cuts
  • Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • 5-1/4  x 4 orange & yellow scattered flowers & leaves print
  • Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Timid Tiger Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Darling Duckling Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Timid Tiger 3/8" Faux Linen Ribbon - 4"

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere DSP panel to folded card front.

Ink large leafy branch with Blackberry Bliss, stamp off once, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink small 3-leaf branch with Darling Duckling, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink larger of  two single flower stamps with Timid Tiger, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Die cut all three pieces.


Ink sentiment with Timid Tiger, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Adhere to Blackberry Bliss cardstock.


Adhere large leafy branch to upper right section of card.  Adhere ribbon at bottom of sentiment panel, with ribbon extending at bottom and sides.  Adhere in upper right area of card, partially over large leafy branch.


Adhere flower at bottom right of sentiment, with Stampin' Dimensional.  Adhere small leafy branch with stem tucked under flower.


Embellish with flat pearls.
