#DOswts452 - Blog Hop Beautiful Gallery Framed Scene Thinking of You

And here's my card:


Today's card features one of the painted landscape prints from the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Papers (DSP).  When I saw this sketch challenge, I immediately thought of these papers.  I was going to simply use a smaller part of a landscape inside a large frame as the sketch shows, however, when I remembered the frames that are included in the Gallery Blooms dies, I thought this would be a fun interpretation of the sketch.

The Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection offers a wonderful assortment of products for an entire year of crafting.  With stamp sets offering sentiments for a wide variety of occasions, and beautiful floral images just waiting for a little coloring to bring them to life, the stamp sets alone are a great value.  Add in the dies which cut out the floral images and accent pieces, as well as two frames, the larger of which is used on this card, there truly is no end to the ways to create with this collection of products.  And of course, the gorgeous papers included in this suite lend themselves to infinite possibilities, for cards, scrapbook pages, or simply framed and on your wall.

  • Gallery Blooms dies
  • Cloud Cover cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
    • 5-1/2 x 3-3/4 frame die cut
  • Secret Sea cardstock
    • 3-1/4 x 5/8
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 3-1/2 x 3/8
  • Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
  • Secret Sea Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Moody Palette Glossy Dots
  • Mini stampin' dimensionals
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere DSP to folded card front.  Die cut frame from Cloud Cover cardstock, adhere to DSP, centering.


Adhere Secret Sea cardstock strip near bottom of frame, centering. (I placed it so it covers the tops of the trees and the little house). Ink "Thinking of You" with Secret Sea, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, adhere to Secret Sea cardstock with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. 


Embellish with Cloud Cover Glossy Dots.
