I was scrolling through the online exclusives yesterday to see what was still available as I want to make sure I'm using products that are current. I'm thrilled that the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder is still around. It's so lovely, and inspiration from one of the online samples is where today's card got its start.
I wanted to use the Autumn Leaves stamp set to carry through the leaf theme while still having a summer vibe. Colors play a big part in the overall feel of a card so by sticking with Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly and Garden Green, I think this card feels very summery even if the names of the stamp sets, dies and embossing folders would have you thinking fall.
See what I mean. Summer leaf colors for sure! And how perfect that the print from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Papers (DSP) fits beautifully with this color palette. Notice the embossing on the card base layer. Even though a little shows on the front, the fun part of embossing directly on the card base is that when you open up the card, you'll see the entire embossing detail on the inside. That's a great little surprise!
The gorgeous font of the word "celebrate" from the Wanted To Say dies along with a simple statement from the Autumn Leaves stamp set makes this card one that can be used for a birthday, an anniversary, or any occasion that calls for a celebration. It's enjoyable to send a card "just because" and this is a great reminder that every day is worth celebrating.

Here's How It's Made:
Emboss Lemon Lolly card front with Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder.
Ink maple leaf stamp with Lemon Lime Twist, stamp in upper half of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, re-ink and stamp again on bottom half, changing direction of leaf. Ink maple leaf vein stamp with Garden Green, stamp onto maple leaf image, re-ink, stamp again on other leaf. Die cut 2 small maple leaves from Garden Green.
Adhere die cut maple leaves near bottom of stamped leaves. Adhere Garden Green cardstock panel to folded card front, with Stampin' Dimensionals, at a slight angle. Adhere Soft Sea Foam panel onto card front, angling opposite direction of Garden Green panel.
Die cut "Celebrate" from Garden Green cardstock with adhesive sheet. Peel off protective layer, adhere to DSP strip. Adhere to card front, angling, covering stems of leaves. Ink "today & every day" with Garden Green, stamp onto Lemon Lolly cardstock, die cut with small angled banner die, adhere at bottom of DSP.
Embellish with Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist small and large transparent dots.
