Today I want to talk about kits. Have you ever taken the time to check out the kit selection when you are shopping on my site? Stampin' Up! has an amazing selection of kits, some include stamping and some are assembly only, no stamping required. Everything is provided in each kit, and I mean everything! All kits come with beautifully illustrated instructions for each card or item that is included in the kit. All the adhesives, ink (if it's a kit with stamping included) a block to mount the stamps onto, and all the embellishments, ribbons, twines or what have you that is part of each kit.
The kits are not shown in the catalogs, other than a glimpse, so that when you go online, you will always know which ones are currently available to order. There are also new kits introduced monthly, so the inventory is always being freshened with new options, while keeping many of the previous, allowing you a wonderful variety to choose from.
Even though I love making cards, I always have a kit or two on hand. There are times where I simply don't have the time or creative energy to come up with a card I need quickly, and the kits give me the option to have one ready in just a few minutes. I keep some made up and ready to go, and others, I make as I need. Since I do have a variety of stamps, I can always change up the sentiment to be what I need it to be and add it on to the kitted card.
There are so many beautiful selections to choose from, from kits that are designed to be interactive with young people, to ones that are for decor, cards for all occasions, tags, and packaging and more!
Whichever kit you choose, they come in a wonderful box, so you always have easy storage for the completed items as well as any of the loose pieces you haven't assembled yet. No large crafting space is needed. A table or desktop is all that is needed for you to assemble your project.
Kits are also a wonderful activity to invite a friend or two over, enjoy your favorite beverage and snack, chat and create at the same time.
