Greetings!
The Thoughtful Journey Suite Collection is filled with so many spectacular products! I keep finding more and more ways to combine products from this collection for fabulous cards.
I opted to use a watercolor wash print from the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Papers (DSP) and chose Mossy Meadow cardstock for the die cut piece. Originally, I was planning on using it as a little accent under a sentiment label until I measured it and realized it's just shy of 5" long, so I had to rethink my card design. It became the vertical accent to the side of the sentiment label, which works great! It is such a beautiful die, and keeping some of the fill in the leaves gives it a little more substance.
Isn't it gorgeous! With the beauty of the watercolor wash print and the die cut, I knew the sentiment needed to be simple. I love the softness of the rounded corners on the Nested Essentials rectangle dies, and the sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set fits perfectly.
There are still so many wonderful designs that are waiting to be made from this beautiful collection of products. The suite collections are a great way to have an assortment of coordinating products so you can create multiple projects with one collection. All you need to add are a few colors of cardstock and ink and you have unlimited possibilities. If you haven't checked out a suite collection yet, I encourage you to give them a serious look. Whether it's the Thoughtful Journey collection, or one of the others featured in the catalog or online, you'll find it makes your creativity spark with ease.

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere watercolor wash DSP print to Pool Party folded card front. Die cut large decorative leafy die from Mossy Meadow, adhere to left side of card front, leaving some of the fill in the leaves.
Ink sentiment with Mossy Meadow, stamp onto Pool Party cardstock, centering. Die cut with rounded rectangle die. Die cut Wild Wheat cardstock with same die. Die cut two long thin leaves from Wild Wheat cardstock. Layer Pool Party die cut onto Wild Wheat with 1/4" of left and top edges extended, adhere to card front with left edge aligned with middle of decorative leafy die cut.
Adhere two Wild Wheat leaves to lower right corner of sentiment, with ends under label. Tie Wild Wheat Jute Trim in knot, untwist trim for a frayed look. Embellish with silver and gold sequins.
