Greetings!
I am loving the versatility of the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Papers (DSP). With such a variety of small prints in bright colors on the flip sides of the many zinnia flower prints, the possibilities seem endless with how they can be combined or added as a simple accent. I was recently working with my friend Dawn and making cards with the new Hello Hollyhocks card kit. One of the card bases had a angled printed piece on the bottom part of the card front, with flowers on the upper part. It was my inspiration for today's card.
I've been wanting to use the all over tone on tone print from the Flowering Zinnias DSP, and the contrasting print on the flip side works perfectly for the angled piece at the bottom. Instead of pulling in a bunch of color, I opted to stick with shades of red and pink. The subtlety of the leafy plant from the Thoughtful Wishes dies in Melon Mambo fits perfectly without taking away from the background print.
The Stylish Shapes dies are such a go to for me! Anchoring the circle with a banner seemed just the thing, and when searching for the right sentiment the style and size of the fonts in the Layering Leaves stamp set were just what was needed. I will most likely end up giving this card to my mom on Sunday for Mother's Day. The sentiment is universal enough to use for so many occasions, and I'm happy my mom is still on this earth to celebrate and honor her on Mother's Day.

Here's How It's Made:
Cut dots and plus signs DSP print diagonally from top left to lower right corners. Adhere to zinnias DSP print, lining up at left and bottom edges. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler folded card front.
Die cut leafy plant from Melon Mambo cardstock. Die cut largest banner from Real Red cardstock, and middle circle from Pretty In Pink cardstock. Adhere die cut leafy plant near left edge, adhere banner over bottom part of die cut, with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Ink sentiment with Melon Mambo, stamp onto die cut circle. Adhere over banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Embellish with Pink adhesive-backed Pearls.
