Greetings!
The Thoughtful Wishes bundle is so full of botanical die cuts to be used as accents as well as being the main attraction. This die set includes a very clever two-step die to create a beautiful focal point, and all it needs to really show it off is a couple layers behind it paired with a lovely sentiment.
This bundle really is named appropriately as the sentiments are so thoughtful and the dies give you many options to set the mood. The simple print from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Papers (DSP) brings in a bit of texture and coordinates wonderfully with the pattern in the Crosshatch 3D embossing folder, which is part of the Basics 3D embossing folder trio. I opted to assemble it with the embossed side down so the texture is a little more subtle.
The secret to making sure you enjoy working with detailed die cuts like this one is to use the Adhesive Sheets. They really are the star of the show when working with thin pieces. There's nothing worse than trying to apply adhesive or liquid glue without ending up with most of it on your fingers and everywhere except where you want it to be.
This plant can be made in so many color combinations. My mom is here staying with me for a few days, and as I was making this card, she was making one using Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green for the plant, on a Real Red card base and it is gorgeous. She's planning on making a couple more in other color variations. It's fun to see how different they look depending on the colors you use. You can change the entire mood of the card just by switching out the colors.

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere largest Basic White layer to Gorgeous Grape folded card front, centering, adhere Highland Heather layer next. Adhere small DSP piece at bottom of Highland Heather layer. Emboss remaining Basic White panel with Crosshatch 3D embossing folder, adhere to card front near top edge of Highland Heather layer (this allows more of the DSP print to show at the bottom).
Die cut plant stem from Garden Green and plant with flowers from Highland Heather cardstock.
Peel backing from Highland Heather die cut, adhere to embossed Basic White layer. Peel backing from Garden Green die cut, align onto die cut flowers.
Ink sentiment with Highland Heather, stamp onto small Basic White strip. Adhere across lower part of plant with Stampin' Dimensionals, aligned at left edge of embossed panel so right edge is at edge of card front.
Embellish with Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
