Everyday Details Masterfully Made All Occasion Card

Greetings!

Do you ever purchase a stamp set because you fall in love with a specific image in the set, and you find it's some time before you actually make a card with that particular image?  Yep! Me too!  The Everyday Details stamp set is one of those for me.  When I first saw it, I was very drawn to the vase full of flowers and couldn't wait to get the bundle so I could play with that image.  I've made multiple cards with the other two images from the stamp set and used the messages multiple times.  Today is the first time I've made a card using the image that drew me to want the set in the first place.  Funny how those things work!

When figuring out a background for the vase and flowers, I flipped through the prints in the various packs of papers I have and settled on one of the prints from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Papers (DSP) pack.  These papers have a spectacular variety of colors in them. From bold and bright to softly colored with splashes of bold and bright, it has something to fit every mood.  The unique part about this pack of papers is that all the images are made with what looks like torn strips and bits of various prints and patterns, giving it a very one of a kind look.

It was easy to choose colors for the flowers and leaves by pulling those colors from the Masterfully Made DSP print.  Stamping an image with Stazon ink, which is a solvent based ink, gives a nice crisp image.  The great thing about using Stazon ink is that the Stampin' Blends, which are alcohol based markers, won't grab any of the black and muddy up the colors.   This is also the ink to use when stamping on window sheets or other shiny surface materials, as it won't bleed or run.  If you haven't used the Stazon inks yet, I encourage you to give them a try.  I've also used them to stamp images onto ceramic tiles to use for coasters, small wood pieces, and more.  They are made for you to use on more than just paper.

A reminder that this is the last month to get some of your favorites before they're gone.  With the ending of the 2023-2024 annual catalog and the Jan-April mini catalog, many things are saying goodbye.  The Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper used on this card will be gone soon, so make sure and get it while you can.  The Everyday Details bundle (stamp set & die) is only available at the 10% discount bundle price through the end of this catalog period as well.  The stamp set and die are continuing forward for another year but will no longer be offered at the bundle price, so again, if they are something you've been wanting, I always encourage getting it while you can get the bundle price.
