Homemade Sweetness Sweetest Banner Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features multiple prints from the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Papers (DSP) along with a simple message from the Banner Sayings stamp & punch bundle.



Techniques include using a punch.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

Sometimes a simple project is just what is needed, and that's what this card is.  It may look "busy" from all the prints, but it went together in just a few minutes.

When working with a pack of DSP like the Homemade Sweetness collection, combining prints for a base is a great way to give your card visual interest with little work.  These prints are so colorful with a nice balance of simple patterns and sweet, fruity prints.  The background tells a story with the jars of sweet toppings, spoons, and a glimpse of fruit.  Pull it all together with a sweet little banner message and you have a card that feels grandmother approved. 😊

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Banner Sayings bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & punch with bundle item#)
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
    • scrap for banner punch
  • Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • 4 x 2-1/8 rows of small jars print
    • 4 x 4 spoons print
    • 4-1/2 x 4 red splotchy print
    • 4 x 3/4 (2) scattered fruits print
  • Strawberry Slush Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Real Red & White striped baker's twine
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Paper Trimmer

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere small jars print to spoon print, adhere to red splotchy print.  Adhere scattered fruits print strips to red print, extending 3/8" from top and bottom.  Adhere to folded card base.



Ink sentiment with Strawberry Slush, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, punch. Tie baker's twine around left end of banner, knot.  Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
