Reason To Celebrate Circles Special Day Z-fold Card

Greetings!

Today's card features messages from the Reason to Celebrate stamp set scattered among the Stylish Shapes dies circles, giving this card a very fun, festive vibe.  Prints from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Papers (DSP) lend themselves to this whimsical feel along with the Red & White Peppermint embellishments.

Making it a simple z-fold card extends the party to the inside when open.

Techniques include die cutting, fussy cutting, and a fun fold.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

Embellishments such as the adhesive-backed peppermints used on this card are so versatile, and work not only as little pinwheels of fun but work great as pom-poms on the party hats as well.  Though these little peppermints came out during this past Christmas season, their versatility continues on.  If you've been following me for awhile, I used them on a birthday card last fall for another festive look. Here's the link to check it out. https://inkinfunwithbeverly.blogspot.com/2025/09/sign-design-celebratory-sips-be-sweet.html

And where did the party hats come from, you ask?  The flip side of the background DSP is a black on gray chevron print, so cutting little triangles for hats was easy peasy.

=============================================================
Here's How It's Made:

To create z-fold, fold card base at 4-1/4, then fold it back on itself at the 2-1/8 score line.

Place the four smaller circle dies onto the tone on tone DSP, die cut.  Save the two larger cut-out circles for the inside.

Adhere to zigzag print panel, adhere to Basic Black cardstock panel.

Ink messages with Memento Ink, stamp onto Basic White cardstock scraps, fussy cut around words and messages, adhere inside circles with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Cut triangles from flip side of DSP, adhere on card front outside of circles.

Adhere left side of panel to card front flap.

Embellish with Real Red & White adhesive-backed Peppermints.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Adhere zigzag print panel to inside, adhere two larger circles to panel.  Ink message, stamp onto cardstock, fussy cut and adhere to circle.  Add a little party hat next to message.

I left remaining circle blank for signature.
