Greetings!
Today's card features the Delicate Whispers stamp & die bundle and prints from the Country Woods Designer Series Papers (DSP). I had a couple scraps of the Country Woods DSP that worked beautifully with the background print I created, and instead of cutting anything down, I decided the layout worked best with a square card.
Techniques include repeating a stamped image to create a background print and adding color using Sponge Daubers.

Beverly's Tip of the Day
The small floral and dot stamp from this set worked perfectly to create a background panel. The stamp is random enough in shape and images to repeatedly stamp, changing direction to sister up to previous stamped images, creating an allover background print. Lightly tapping color onto flowers using a sponge dauber provides the colored dots.
The sponge dauber was also used to fill in color on the single die cut flower.
Sponge daubers are a great tool for grabbing color from an ink pad and stamping onto an image, for creating a background feature, or to daub lightly onto an image to fill in with a bit of color. Saturation of ink and pressure used on dauber give you a variety of ways to add interest to your stamped creations.
