Greetings!
I recently learned a new fun fold that I think has become my favorite one ever! What I love about this one is that the card still sits up straight. For me, that's important. I really don't like fun folds that don't sit up straight. It's simply a personal preference I know, but when I receive a card I like to display it for awhile, and when I send a card I hope the recipient would like to display it for awhile too. If it doesn't sit up on a shelf or surface, then it can't be easily seen.
I call this fun fold the center panel z-fold. It's easy to make, it's a great design to use with coordinating prints from your favorite pack of DSP and it doesn't use a lot of cardstock.
Isn't it fun! You can see a hint of the fold behind the center panel, and I've added a top view down below in the instructions.
Now, to talk about the fabulous Full of Life Suite Collection. This card uses the beautifully colorful Full of Life Designer Series Papers (DSP) for the side panels and bottom center panel. These papers feature a fun variety of prints and I truly believe every color in Stampin' Up!'s color selection is in these papers, even though they aren't all listed. The Ombre' die cut "friend" is another one of the prints from this pack. The Friends For Life stamp and die bundle has a great selection of sentiments and partial sentiments so you can build your messages. Layered die cut words make such an impact, and a simple "hi" to go with the die cut is all that's needed on this card. There's a panel on the inside giving you plenty of space to write a note. The Iridescent Faceted Gems that are part of this suite collection provide the perfect finishing touch.

Here's How It's Made:
Score one Shaded Spruce 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 panel on long edge at 2-3/4 and 4-1/8.
Fold in half at center score line, then fold outer edge back to center fold on other score line. With remaining Shaded Spruce 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 panel in landscape orientation, adhere z-fold panel, centering. Adhere left side of 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 panel to front z-fold. Top view of fold will look like this:
Adhere DSP print #1 strips at either side of center z-fold panel on card. Adhere DSP print #2 to bottom of Basic White cardstock panel. Wrap ribbon around panel at top of DSP print, tie bow at right side. Ink "HI" with Granny Apple Green, stamp in upper left of Basic White panel, adhere to center Shaded Spruce panel. Adhere remaining Basic White panel to inside of z-fold panel.
With adhesive sheet attached to backside of DSP print #3, position dies for outline and detail of words, die cut. Die cut outline from Basic White cardstock also.
Adhere detailed "friend" to Basic White outline die cut, centering, then adhere to outline DSP above and left to create shadowed effect, adhere below "HI" onto card.
Embellish with Iridescent Faceted Dots.
