Greetings!
I recently attended an online Stampin' Up! crafting event and one of the cards we made had the simplest technique. It took punched labels and cut them in half, leaving space in the middle for a strip with the sentiment. So simple, yet a great way to make label punched pieces big enough to create the background. I simply had to make a card to share with you, so you can see how easy it is!
This card feels like a celebration, and whether it's for a new baby, a new job, a new adventure, or just happy news that's been shared, this card works.
The Full of Life Designer Series Papers (DSP) have such wonderful whimsical prints in a wide variety of colors so the simple Modern Oval punch shape worked well. Instead of using gems for the embellishment, I played around with some ribbon strips and thought these little knotted pieces in a variety of colors made it feel like confetti on the card.

I know I'm getting a little low on a couple colors of cardstock and adhesive refills, so I am happy to have some coupons to use towards those items. Gather Your Supplies:
- Friends for Life stamp set
- Modern Oval punch
- Smoky Slate cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Basic White cardstock
- 5-1/4 x 4 panel
- 5-1/4 x 1
- Full of Life Designer Series Paper
- 1 sheet of small circles print
- Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad
- Summer Splash 3/8" Bordered Ribbon - 3/"
- Peach Pie 3/8" Bordered Ribbon - 3"
- Petunia Pop 3/8" Bordered Ribbon - 3"

Here's How It's Made:
Punch Modern Oval three times from DSP print. Cut punched pieces in half. Place three with rounded edge 1/2" from top of Basic White cardstock panel, remaining three 1/2" from bottom of panel. Adhere.
Ink sentiment with Smoky Slate, stamp onto Basic White cardstock strip. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals to center of Basic White panel, covering cut edges of punched pieces. Adhere to Smoky Slate folded card front.
Tie ribbon pieces into a knot, adhere with mini glue dots.
