#DOswts382 Sketch Challenge: Flowering Fields Thank You

Greetings!

Welcome to another fun Stamping with the Stars Sketch Challenge blog hop.  Here's today's sketch:

And here's my card:

A great sketch!  This is a wonderful way to showcase your favorite Designer Series Papers.  The gorgeous Flowering Fields Designer Series Papers create the perfect compliment to my new favorite thank you stamp.  When I saw the round thank you from the Flowering Tulips stamp set I was sold!  What is it about a message in the round that is so attractive?  The font on this thank you is beautiful and of course it's just the right size to cut out with the Layering Circles dies.  One of the great features with the circle dies is that the layers are created to give you just a peak of one layer behind the next if you wish, and I did that by adding in a scalloped edge Shimmer Vellum layer behind the message.

Until looking at the color combination on these papers, I would probably not have thought to pair the Soft Succulent with these shades of oranges and yet it is absolutely gorgeous together!  I am continually inspired by the color combinations provided in the Designer Series Papers (DSP).

Here's what the inside looks like:

I chose a message from the Through it Together stamp set for the inside.  This stamp set is filled with wonderful messages of encouragement, support and gratitude.

Ink message with Soft Succulent and stamp onto a Basic White cardstock piece measuring 2 x 1.  Adhere to 2 x 2-3/4 piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and attach to inside of card.  Adhere a strip of the same print as used on the front near bottom edge of card.
