Bloom Boutique Have A Good Day Tag Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features products from the Bloom Boutique Suite Collection.  This collection features two stamp and die bundles, gorgeous papers and more.  Today's card showcases both the Scalloped Blooms stamp & die bundle as well as the Boutique Blossoms stamp & die bundle.  The sweet little floral print is from the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Papers (DSP), which features all the 2026-2028 In Colors.


Techniques include coloring with Blending Brushes, die cutting, and two step die cutting.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

I am someone who always wants to get the most value out of all my papers, and today's card is a perfect example.  I had the scalloped circle and the flower and leaves, but all I had for DSP were pieces that I had cut scalloped circles out of.  I then realized the size of the cutout was the same size as the scalloped circle I had, so my card design was born.  I placed the Basic White scalloped circle die cut into the cut out of the DSP, and that was my starting point for this card.

This is a great reminder to never throw a scrap away!  Had I thrown away the piece of DSP because it had the scalloped circle cut out of it, I never would have had the piece to make this card.  Remember that a base layer doesn't have to be a solid piece.  I have often used pieces of cardstock or DSP prints that had a piece cut out, but the layer over it covers it up so no one's the wiser.  In this case, having a piece to fit in the opening works like a charm!

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Scalloped Blooms bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • Boutique Blossoms bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Barely Blush cardstock
    • 4-1/4 x 3-1/2 panel
    • 2 x 1 tag die cut
  • Peaceful Pine cardstock
    • scrap for leaves die cut
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 2-7/8 scalloped circle die cut
    • 2 x 1 tag die cut
    • 1-3/4 x 1-7/8 flower die cut 
  • Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP)
    • 4 x 3 green floral print
  • Crisp Cantaloupe Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Peaceful Pine Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Small Blending Brushes
  • Peaceful Pine 3/8" bordered ribbon
  • White Baker's Twine
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere DSP to Barely Blush cardstock, adhere to folded card front 1/4" from left and top edges.  Adhere scalloped circle to DSP panel.


Lightly brush Crisp Cantaloupe ink onto flower die cut with small blending brush.  Die cut leaves from Peaceful Pine cardstock.


Adhere leaves at left edge of scalloped circle, allowing 1 leaf to extend beyond circle.  Adhere flower to circle, with left edge over stem of leaves.


Ink Have a Good Day with Peaceful Pine, stamp onto Basic White die cut tag.  Line up Barely Blush and white tags, cut end of ribbon diagonally, fold and insert through hole in tags, fold ribbon in half, tie Baker's Twine around ribbon near edge of tags, make a bow.  


Adhere tags at bottom right of DSP panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.
