Peaceful Evergreens Forest of Happy Holiday Wishes Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the beautiful Peaceful Evergreens stamp set and die bundle.  The stamp set has a nice selection of single trees in assorted sizes and a small group of trees which is what is used on today's card.  To make the trees into a small forest, it is stamped repeatedly.  It's such an easy thing to do with a group of evergreens and evokes the feeling of a lovely wintery scene.  


Isn't it lovely. The Peaceful Season stamp set has a fantastic variety of sentiments and messages for both the outside and inside of your card, and the sentiment used here is just the right size to sit below the forest of evergreens.  Pretty Peacock is the perfect color to use for them, and the shimmery paper as a mat layer along with the ribbon, brings in a feeling of warmth and sparkle.  

Continuing the wintery feel is easy with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder in the background, and isn't that large tree magnificent!  Such fun detail to it and as with the stamps, the dies come in assorted sizes for the detailed trees as well as dies to cut out the full tree.  There are so many options with this set! If you're a lover of trees as I am, this bundle will give you a wonderful variety to use for your holiday cards, especially when paired with the Peaceful Season stamp set.  

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Peaceful Season stamp set
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
    • 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 
  • Summer Splash Glimmer Paper
    • 3-1/2 x 3
  • Regal Winter Designer Series Paper 
    • 3-3/4 x 2 Pretty Peacock print (purple floral print on backside)
  • Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon - 11"

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss Basic White cardstock panel with Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder.  Die cut large tree detail from Pretty Peacock DSP print.  *Adhere tree to embossed panel near left edge.  Adhere to Basic White Thick folded card front. 


*NOTE:  For both tree and frosted dots, I used Multipurpose liquid glue.  I applied liquid glue to back of die cut tree and let it dry clear which leaves it very tacky, but easier to adhere to cardstock without having glue leaking beyond tree.  For frosted dots, apply small drops of glue to Silicon sheet, place dot onto each glue drop, set aside and let dry.  When ready to apply to card, pick up dot from silicon sheet and press onto card.  

Ink sentiment with Pretty Peacock, stamp near bottom of Basic White cardstock, centering.  Ink multi-tree stamp with Pretty Peacock, stamp 3/4" above sentiment at left edge, stamp again above first row of trees without re-inking. Ink stamp again, stamp to right of first row of trees, then stamp above without re-inking.  

Wrap ribbon around cardstock, positioning between trees and sentiment, tie knot, secure with mini glue dot. Adhere finished piece to Summer Splash Glimmer Paper, centering.  Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals, overlapping right side of die cut tree,.


Embellish with Pretty Peacock Frosted Dots.
