Golden Greenery Boughs & Bells Christmas Card

Greetings! 

Today's card began with cutting out a couple of pine boughs from the Graceful Greenery Vellum.  The Golden Greenery dies cut out the printed pine boughs, giving you beautiful pieces to work with without even having to stamp them!   The Gold Foil bells provide the perfect accent, along with a little gold bow to give this stunning card all the adornment it needs.  


White on white always gives a card elegance, and with the touches of gold, this card is truly elegant.  The "Merry Christmas" is heat embossed in gold to compliment the bells, and using the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder for the front panel and the large tag gives this card beautiful dimension.  

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Greetings of the Season Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • Golden Greenery dies
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
    • 4 x 2-3/4 for large tag
    • 3-1/4 x 2-1/2 for label
  • Gold Foil sheet 
    • 2-1/4 x 1-1/2
  • Graceful Greenery Vellum
    • two pine boughs
  • VersaMark™ Pad
  • Gold Embossing Powder
  • Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder
  • Gold 1/8" trim - 9"
  • Heat Tool

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut two pine boughs from printed vellum.  Die cut two small bells from Gold Foil.  Die cut label with rounded top and bottom extensions from Basic White cardstock.  


Trim approximately 1/4" off both rectangular ends of label (make sure to cut far enough in to cut entire hole off).


Ink sentiment stamps with VersaMark, stamp onto center of label.  Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder, shake off excess, heat set with Heat Tool.

Die cut largest label from Basic White cardstock.  Emboss Basic White cardstock panel and largest label with Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.  NOTE: For pattern continuity, place label in area of embossing folder where it will be placed on panel, so brick lines and patterns match up fairly well.

Adhere embossed panel to Basic White Thick folded card front, centering.  Adhere large embossed label onto center of panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adhere sentiment label near bottom of large embossed label.  


Adhere pine boughs and bells at top of large label, with mini glue dots.  Tie Gold 1/8" trim into bow, adhere at top center with mini glue dot.
