Greetings!
The Splendid Autumn Designer Series Papers (DSP) are so gorgeous with their beautiful fall time painted scenery prints in rich, deep autumn colors. The papers are 6 x 6 in size, and it's really hard to choose just a portion of one to use, so I came up with a design that uses the entire width, and just cuts a little off the top and bottom to fit onto a card I call the panoramic fun fold. The card fits into a standard medium envelope, so no special mailing or postage is required, and when it's opened up, the beauty of the scene is on full display.
Isn't it lovely! The sentiment of gratitude embossed in gold fits beautifully without detracting from the artwork, and maintains the elegance and splendor of the print. Designed so the inner panel is mounted on a card that flips up giving plenty of room for your message, this card is a great way to showcase your favorite DSP print. The Hope You Know stamp set is where the sentiment comes from and it contains such a beautiful message of thanks for the inside that a signature is all you need. 😊
Gather Your Supplies:
- Hope You Know stamp set
- Mossy Meadow cardstock
- card base 11 x 4-1/4 scored at 2-1/2, 4, 7 & 8-1/2. Fold so two outside pieces meet in middle, covering inside panel.
- Basic Beige cardstock
- 4 x 2-1/4(2)
- 8 x 2-1/2 , scored at 4
- scrap for sentiment
- Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper
- 6 x 6 of your favorite print - cutting details below
- Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin' Pad
- VersaMark Pad
- Gold Embossing Powder
- Heat Tool
- Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds

Here's How It's Made:
Cut DSP print down to 4" high by selecting which 4" of the scene you prefer, then cut into three 2" wide pieces. You should have three 4" high by 2" wide pieces, as shown here:
Adhere two outer DSP sections to Basic Beige 4 x 2-1/4 pieces, center DSP section to scored Basic Beige mini card.
Ink sentiment with Versamark, stamp onto Basic Beige cardstock strip. Sprinkle Gold embossing powder onto sentiment, shake off excess, heat set with heat tool*.
*Heat embossing is magic! Add embossing powder to wet ink or VersaMark™ inked images, apply heat from the heat tool until you see the powder liquify and turn into a solid enamel looking word or image. It's the wow technique of stamping.
Cut strip down to 2-1/2 x 1/2, adhere to center panel near bottom.
Adhere outer two panels to outside panels on Mossy Meadow card base, and center mini card panel on middle inner panel of Mossy Meadow card base. Here's how it looks from the top:
When closed, it should look like this:
Ink message with Mossy Meadow, stamp on inside of Basic Beige mini card in center panel.
