Greetings!
Today's card began from inspiration in the Sep-Dec mini catalog. I was in the mood for a card with trees and after pulling out the Merriest Trees dies, I now had to find a configuration that seemed pleasing. One of my favorite pages in the mini catalog is page 51. It shows four different color combinations, each with a lovely sample, and any time I'm lacking inspiration, this page always gives me a kick-off point. One of the samples has a card with three trees grouped together and from there I came up with this card.
Isn't it lovely! The Fun Patterns embossing folders provide great texture for the two large trees, and the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls are perfect for pulling in the color from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel.
Remember, there is inspiration around you all the time that you can pull from for your cards. Maybe it's a color combination you see at the furniture store, or restaurant. Nature is always a great place to look for beautiful colors that look great together, and of course there are numerous sites online, as well as my favorite go to, the Stampin' Up! catalogs and website. Find what you like and have fun!

- Basic Beige cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Mossy Meadow cardstock
- Pretty Peacock cardstock
- Very Vanilla cardstock
- Country Woods Designer Series Paper
- 5-1/4 x 4 light neutrals shiplap print
- Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere DSP print to Basic Beige folded card front, centering.
Die cut trees, using largest die for Mossy Meadow, 2nd largest for Pretty Peacock, and 2nd smallest for Very Vanilla. Emboss two large trees with Fun Patterns embossing folders, centering trees in patterns. Decorate Very Vanilla tree with Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls.
Position trees onto DSP panel with largest first, then other two overlapping to form a trio, adhere.
Ink sentiment with Pretty Peacock, stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock strip. Position at left edge of card over upper part of largest tree, tucking under edge of 2nd largest tree if needed.
