Greetings!
Welcome to today's sketch challenge blog hop. I knew immediately when I saw the sketch diagram which stamp I wanted to use. The gorgeous new Strength & Hope stamp set was the first item in my cart when I could shop from the Sep-Dec 2024 mini catalog. It's a fantastic combination of images and sentiments, including the beautiful line art image I used for the focal point.
Here's the sketch:
The Regal Winter Designer Series Papers (DSP) are filled with rich colors and provided the inspiration for my color palette. Using the alcohol-based Stampin' Blends Markers to color with are perfect because they dry quickly and allow blending between the colors. Each color has a light and dark marker in the pack, so using just a few colors gives you almost limitless color to your project.
Finding the right sized circle die is quick and easy with the Deckled Circles dies. These dies have a total of 14 different sized circles, making them a great choice to give the size you want, as well as easily selecting the next size up for a mat layer. After putting the layers together, I felt it needed a little something more - yep, I love texture!- so I opted to emboss the Boho Blue cardstock panel with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. I love how it all came together!
Starting with a sketch such as the one used today is a great way to get your creativity flowing. I hope you've enjoyed this stop on your blog hop, and are inspired to grab your supplies and get creative.
