Everyday Details Poetic Expressions Brighter Day Card

Greetings!

Have you checked out the Everyday Details bundle yet?  OMG!  So adorable!

I'll admit, the first couple of times I flipped through the catalog, it wasn't the first thing to catch my eye.  Then I started seeing samples with circles and rectangular pieces with little holes punch around the edges and looked for the dies.  That's when I noticed they were bundled with the adorable stamp set featuring the lovely vase of flowers, a birds nest and a tea cup.  It became a I have to have this set immediately, and I'm so happy I got it!  It's so much fun to work with these adorable images and I hope this set of dies stays around for a long time!

Okay, enough of the suspense!  Here's the card:

I realize it's only the beginning of February, but that nest says Spring!  It's hard to see in the photo but I added a little shimmer to the eggs with the Wink of Stella® Clear Glitter Brush and it's gorgeous!  The Gold 1/8" Faux Leather Trim added just the right touch to emulate the structure of the nest.

When choosing the background layer, I wanted something subtle with an earthy feminine feel to it and the Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) had the perfect print.  I love how this all came together.  Who wouldn't feel their day get a little brighter when they get this card? 😊
