Greetings!
I have been having the best time with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid embossing folder. This is the first time I had ever purchased a hybrid folder, and what an ingenious product it is. It embosses and die cuts all in one, as well as being able to use the two pieces separately giving you a wonderful variety of design options.
Last week I had cut out all the words from the Thoughtful Moments set and assembled them with the die cut layers so I had all these words laying around. I also had the packet of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Papers (DSP) out, as they are the items I had used for my blog post last Thursday, Feb 8th. I couldn't just let those words go to waste and I saw so many possibilities of pairings with all the DSP scraps out on my table, so I got to work.
The Note Cards & Envelopes are something I always have on hand as there is a sweetness to having a little note card sometimes instead of a full-sized card. The fact that they come in a pack of 20 cards and envelopes, with the cards already scored, makes them so great to just pull one out, fold it at the score line and your card base is ready for you.
As you can see each card is unique in its layout of the papers and which prints were used. All the words are the same with the outlined layer on Lemon Lime Twist and Starry Sky. The Bright & Beautiful DSP has a wonderful variety of colors and for these I focused on the prints that best coordinate with the two layering colors. There are many more combinations I could have used and these papers would still have worked beautifully. Adding the In Color Pearls, Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist and Lemon Lolly ribbons for embellishments give each card a beautiful finishing touch.

Here's How It's Made:
Roll Stampin' Brayer onto Basic Gray ink pad until brayer is completely covered with ink. Roll onto raised outline side of Thoughtful Moments embossing folder. Very carefully align Thoughtful Moments die onto brayered side of embossing folder, and secure with a couple pieces of clear tape or washi tape. Position Basic White cardstock onto other side of embossing folder, then carefully close embossing folder/die combo and run through Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. Remove all die cut pieces. Clean embossing folder to remove remaining ink.
Die cut both Starry Sky and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Layer and offset the layers with Starry Sky on the bottom, then Lemon Lime Twist, then the inked, embossed Basic White message. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. NOTE: I considered using adhesive sheets before die cutting, then realized that there would have been a lot of adhesive left exposed with the layered, offset messages.
Select your print from the Bright & Beautiful DSP, layer and arrange to your satisfaction, adhere to folded Note Card front and embellish.
