Valley In Bloom Friendly Foliage 3-Square Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features a sweet little print from the Valley In Bloom Designer Series Papers (DSP) and stamped pattern and message from the Friendly Foliage stamp set.  The repeat pattern is stamped using the Stampin' Positioner, which makes getting your images evenly spaced and aligned a breeze!

Techniques include using the Stampin' Positioner for the image on this card.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

Get crisp, clean stamped images every time with the Stampin’ Positioner. This easy-to-use stamping platform helps you stamp with precise alignment and even pressure every time. Grid marks on the plates keep your stamps straight while the rubber corners apply uniform pressure for optimal ink coverage. And it’s so easy—just hold the paper in place with the magnets, place and ink the stamp, then press down.

For a repeat pattern, the smaller plate included with the Stampin' Positioner makes this a breeze.  Here are the steps to stamp the pattern shown on today's card.

Place cardstock onto grid paper on platform, position stamp onto cardstock, place magnets onto opposite ends of cardstock to hold in place.  Position plate onto pins over stamp, press down to attach stamp to plate.  

Ink stamp by pressing ink pad onto stamp, place plate back onto pins, press down onto cardstock.

Remove plate, turn cardstock 180 degrees, place magnets, ink stamp, press down onto cardstock.

Remove stamp from plate, clean and dry stamp, line up un-inked stamp on cardstock in new desired position, place magnets, place plate onto pins, press down to attach stamp.  Ink stamp, press plate down to stamp.

Remove plate, turn cardstock 180 degrees, place magnets, ink stamp, press down to stamp onto cardstock.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Friendly Foliage stamp set
• Basic White Thick cardstock 
• card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Pool Party cardstock
• 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 panel
• 1-1/2 squares (3)
• Lemon Lime Twist cardstock
• 2-1/2 x 1/2
• Basic White cardstock
• 5-1/4 x 4 panel
• 2-1/4 x 5/8 
• Valley In Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP)
• 1-1/4 squares (3) small Lilies of the Valley allover print
• Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad
• Dewdrops embellishments
• Stampin' Positioner
• Stampin' Positioner Grid Paper
• Paper Trimmer

Here's How It's Made:

Ink small line of leaves stamp with Lemon Lime Twist, stamp lines onto Basic White cardstock panel following detailed instructions shown above in 'Beverly's Tip of the Day' section.  Adhere completed panel to Pool Party cardstock panel, adhere to folded card front.

Adhere 3 DSP squares to 3 Pool Party cardstock squares.  Adhere to stamped panel, spaced evenly from upper left to lower right, using Stampin' Dimensionals for top and bottom square.

Ink sentiment with Lemon Lime Twist, stamp onto Basic White cardstock strip.  Angle cut edges, adhere to Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, angle cut edges to match edges of Basic White piece. 

To get edge angles even, cut one end, place cut off piece over other end to match angle, cut.  

Adhere sentiment over center square, centering, with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Embellish with small and large green dewdrops embellishments.
