Paradise Garden Curved Thank You Card

 Greetings! 

Today's card features the Paradise Garden stamp and die bundle.  Stamped silhouettes of flowers and greenery pair beautifully with textured impressions from the hybrid embossing folder.

Techniques include embossing and curving the stamp to fit in the banner die.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

A great bonus to Photopolymer stamps is their pliability.  When wanting to have a message fit inside a curved banner die, it's easy to bend the stamp to fit.  For today's message, I placed the die cutting-side up onto my work surface, placed the clear block over the die and curved the stamp to follow the die shape. 

It's now ready to ink and stamp.  This technique works well with single line messages and also straight line images, giving you even more versatility with your creativity.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Paradise Garden bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#) This bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder as part of the dies. 
• Melon Mambo cardstock 
• card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• 4 x 1-1/2 for banner die cut
• Basic White cardstock
• 5-1/4 x 4  embossed panel
• 4 x 1-1/2 for banner die cut
• 4 x 4 for flower & leaves
• Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin' Pad
• Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pad
• Berry Burst 1/4" shiny ribbon
• Dreamy Flowers embellishments
• Stampin' Dimensionals
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Ink curved Thank You with Gorgeous Grape, stamp onto Basic White banner die cut.  (Check out instructions in 'Beverly's Tip of the Day' section for curving the stamp).  Die cut banner from Melon Mambo cardstock, layer the two with a slight twist.

Adhere embossed Basic White panel to folded card front.

Ink large double flower stamp with Gorgeous Grape, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink large leafy branch and 4-leaf branch with Granny Apple Green, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Die cut all pieces.

Apply adhesive to back of flowers die cut, arrange leaf die cuts on either side, with some leaves hanging over edges of flowers.  Adhere to upper area of card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Adhere Thank You banner below flowers, with Stampin' Dimensionals.

 

Tie Berry Burst ribbon into small bow, adhere to flowers with mini glue dot.  Embellish center of flowers with small white Dreamy Flower embellishments.
