Greetings!
Today's card is so simple to make! I wish I could tell you I came up with it quickly, but I would be telling you a lie. 😆 I knew I wanted to make a card with a layout of four labels using the Labeled With Love bundle. The stamp set has a wonderful label outline stamp, and the really cool thing about this bundle, is that you get to decide if you prefer to bundle the stamp set with the punch or the dies. The punch is a single label punch and the die set has three of the same label design. I opted to get the punch bundle, as I really enjoy having a good label punch, especially when paired with a great stamp set!
After trying a few color and image combinations, I scrapped them all, and went with a color combination I really love. Blue and white. As I was looking at the flower and leaf stamps, it reminded me of a suite collection from a few years ago that was all shades of blue with white. It was so striking, and once the decision was made to go with those colors, this card came together quickly. Whew!😅
As you can see, even though it is blue and white, there are multiple shades of blue on this card. I love mixing things up, and the Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue colors work beautifully together. By changing the frame colors and mixing different combinations of blues for the leaves and flowers in each label, it elevates the design. As it is such a basic design and color combination, I decided to add interest to the card by cutting the front down to 3-1/2 and adding a couple strips of Night of Navy along the fold and the cut edge. A simple message of Enjoy Today makes this card one that can be used for many occasions, or when you just want to send a little note to someone.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I opted to purchase the punch bundle. The other option is the die bundle, which includes three of the label die. Both options are usually the same price, however, for the month of June, stamp and die bundles are an additional 10% off AND machines are also 10% off. Here's How It's Made:
Run a thin bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along front folded edge of Boho Blue card base, adhere Night of Navy 1/8" strip at fold. Adhere remaining Night of Navy cardstock to inside right front edge, extending 1/8" beyond edge.
To create each label, ink label outline stamp with Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight or Boho Blue, stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Ink leaf stamp with one of the three shades of blue, stamp inside label. Ink flower stamp with a different shade of blue, stamp inside openings in leaves. Clean stamps in between each color change. Ink sentiment and stamp inside fourth label (I used Boho Blue).
Arrange labels on card front, spacing evenly side to side and top to bottom. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.
