Welcome to today's Sketch Inspiration Hop. It's always fun to see all the interpretations of the sketch and the variety of products each person uses for their project. Enjoy!

I had a couple ideas for the main focal point image and after deciding on a butterfly and choosing the cattail print from the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP), the card came together very quickly.
The Paper Butterfly Accents include butterflies in five sizes, with some in a side view such as the one on this card and some with full wingspan showing. All the butterflies are of white paper, so they can be colored however you wish. This one is colored with Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green using the small blending brushes.
The sentiment style from the Flying By stamp set fits beautifully with the butterfly, and the background print gives this butterfly the perfect landing spot.
Gather Your Supplies:
- Flying By stamp set
- Paper Butterfly accents
- Flirty Flamingo cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Soft Sea Foam cardstock
- 3-3/4 x 2-3/4
- Basic White cardstock
- 2-1/4 x 3/4
- Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper
- 5 x 3-1/2 allover cattails print
- Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pad
- Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
- Small Blending Brushes
- 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems

Here's How It's Made:
To color large butterfly, rub small blending brush onto Granny Apple Green ink pad, then softly rub color onto center of butterfly, using small circular motions. Rub small blending brush onto Pretty Peacock ink pad, then softly rub color onto outer edges of butterfly.
Adhere DSP print to Flirty Flamingo folded card front, angling from lower left to upper right. Adhere Soft Sea Foam cardstock to DSP panel, centering, parallel to card base edges.
Ink sentiment with Granny Apple Green, stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Adhere to Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Adhere butterfly at upper left edge of label.
Embellish with In Color Shimmer Gems.
