Greetings!
Today's card is one I could make over and over again! The Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack is filled with beautiful meadows, many with a little path running through them that invite you to forget about everything else and let your mind wander as you gaze at the gorgeous scenery. The hardest part is figuring out which print to use! The arbor from the Delicate Forest dies provides the perfect frame.
Even though nothing else is needed, I did add a couple adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds. They are a nice accent to the scene.
Don't you feel like you simply could step through the arbor and be off on a beautiful, peaceful walk. I'm sure that's exactly what the artist intended.
The best part is how easily this card comes together. By die cutting the arbor in the front of your pre scored card base, all you have to do is line up the print so it sits in the opening as you wish, cut off the excess, glue it in place, and your card front is done. The back side of the card front is the reverse side of the Meandering Meadows print. I attached the remaining strip to the inside of the card (pictures and instructions below) and added a sweet message from the Your Path Awaits stamp set.
This duo also works as a beautiful piece of artwork to pop into a frame and put on a shelf or wall.

Here's How It's Made:
Align arbor die on front of Thick Basic White open card base, die cut. (I made this card with the fold at the top)
Select your print from the Meandering Meadows DSP, decide how you want it to appear in the opening. Cut it down to 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 so it's just a little bit smaller than the card front (this keeps it from having any edges peaking out behind the card front). Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Embellish with adhesive backed Dragonflies & Birds.
Here's what the inside looks like:
Trim remaining DSP piece down to 5-1/4 long, adhere to left edge of inside of card. Ink message with Shaded Spruce, stamp in upper right.
Die cut Shaded Spruce cardstock with small accent die, trim to fit along bottom of inside of card.
