Greetings!
As we are entering the final month of the current annual catalog, I decided it was time to pay tribute to a couple of products that I've reached for again and again throughout this past year.
The Design a Daydream Designer Series Papers, which are one of the items available for hosts, or when your order totals $150 or more, are a fabulous collection of prints and patterns in a array of colors. I have reached for them many times this past year, and have used them with a variety of stamp sets. For today's card, I chose the Color & Contour stamp set because the images work well with the scattered floral DSP print selected. I played with a few different color options as well as trying out different prints to pair with the scattered floral print, and here's what made the final cut.
Can you believe no punches or dies are used in the making of this card!? I thought about it and decided against it, as the simple image and happy little message are just fine without any fancy borders or shapes.
Gather Your Supplies:

- Basic White Thick cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Blushing Bride cardstock
- 2-3/4 x 2-1/8
- 1-3/4 x 1-5/8
- Basic White cardstock
- 2-5/8 x 2
- 1-5/8 x 1-1/2

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere striped DSP print to folded Basic White Thick card front. Adhere scattered floral DSP print, angled, to striped DSP.
Ink flower fill stamp with Blushing Bride, stamp off once, stamp onto larger Basic White cardstock piece near top. Ink outline flower stamp with Blackberry Bliss, stamp on top of Blushing Bride flower. Ink leaf outline stamp with Pear Pizzazz, stamp below flower. Ink splatter stamp with Blushing Bride, stamp off once, stamp onto small Basic White cardstock piece. Ink "so very happy..." with Blackberry Bliss and stamp on top of Blushing Bride splatter.
Stamping off is a technique in which you stamp onto grid paper once or twice before stamping onto cardstock. This gives a softer color to your image.
Adhere both stamped pieces to corresponding Blushing Bride cardstock pieces, angling. Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Tie White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon into a small bow, adhere on stamped flower piece with mini glue dot.
With Blackberry Bliss ink pad closed, squeeze center of ink pad firmly a few times to transfer some ink to the lid. Open ink pad, and dip brush tip of Wink of Stella brush into ink on lid. With colored brush tip, gently dab onto center of flower to fill in center and give a little shimmer to the flower center.
