I'm so excited to share products from the newly released 2022-2023 Annual Catalog today!
First off, I have to say, the five new In-Colors are fabulous! I chose two of them to feature on today's card, along with the spectacular new Hues of Happiness Suite of products. Stunning!
When I first viewed the new annual catalog I was so busy feasting my eyes on all the gorgeous new products and samples that it took me awhile before something dawned on me. For the front cover to feature a sample with a notebook page edge, it must be a die, so then the search was on to find the set that had that die. I found it! It's in the Happiness Abounds dies, which are part of the Hues of Happiness Suite, so that shot to the top of the list for items to purchase.
This suite is loaded with fantastic ways to use the products. The Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP) includes sheets with the flowers sized just right for cutting out with the coordinating dies. No coloring needed! I used them on today's card so you can see how gorgeous they are. The stamp set has lovely sentiments in a beautiful font, as well as all the flowers and leaves, and the suite is rounded out with vibrantly colored Glossy Dots in assorted sizes.
I intentionally used the Granny Apple Green cardstock (the darker shade) and the new Parakeet Party cardstock so you can see the difference in the two colors. Don't you love how they pair together!

- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Granny Apple Green cardstock

- 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 brushstroke background

- Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven ribbon - 5"
Ink "friend" stamp with Sweet Sorbet and stamp along upper edge of brushstroke panel. Adhere to Basic White panel. Adhere Basic White panel to Granny Apple Green panel, offsetting angles, with top part of die cut edges aligned, so Parakeet Party 1/8" Metallic Woven ribbon can be thread through holes and tied into a knot.
Note: After embossing the front of my card, I realized I had grabbed the piece of Parakeet Party cardstock that I had cut 1/2" off for color samples to my 6 stamp club members, so the back side of my card was 1/2" short. Oops! So I grabbed a scrap of Granny Apple Green and adhered it to the bottom.
Cut a 3 x 2-1/2 piece of Basic White, and die cut notebook page edge along one long edge. Ink sentiment with Sweet Sorbet and stamp onto Basic White, adhere to inside of card.
