The most beautiful gift we can have in our life is the gift of friendship. Through all the ups and downs life brings us, everything is better when we have friends to share with, and this card is made with friendship in mind.
The Through it Together stamp set is full of heartfelt messages to say just what we need to sent a note of comfort to a friend. The Hues of Happiness Designer Series Papers are full of lovely prints with flowers galore, and the small scattered flowers on navy are the perfect backdrop for some lovely butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies. Put them all together, and you have a lovely card.
I tried and tried to find the right label die or punch for the message I wanted on the front, and nothing seemed right. I then looked at the solid butterflies and thought, aha, I'll simply stamp the message on the butterfly and add it in with all the others. Perfect! The Fun Flowers Resin Shapes add a fun little something extra on the solid butterflies and are just the right colors to use with this print.
Gather Your Supplies:
- Through it Together stamp set
- Brilliant Wings dies
- Basic White Thick cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Basic White cardstock
- Hues of Happiness Designer Series Papers
- 5-1/4 x 4 small flowers on navy print
- Starry Sky Classic Stampin' Pad
- Fun Flowers Resin Shapes

Product List Here's How It's Made:
Adhere Hues of Happiness print onto Basic White Thick card front.
Die cut assortment of butterflies, some solid, some detailed.
For detailed die cuts, the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip makes it easy to get out all the small pieces in between the die cut. Simply keep the die in place on top of cardstock after die cutting, place onto soft foam mat and roll brush back and forth to dislodge negative pieces.
Ink "I am here for you" with Starry Sky and stamp onto solid butterfly. Adhere butterflies to front of card using mini glue dots - this keeps the wings free so they raise away front the card front a bit.
Embellish solid butterflies with Fun Flowers Resin Shapes.
Here's what the inside looks like:
Die cut a solid large butterfly from Basic White cardstock. Run edge of butterfly against edge of Starry Sky ink pad to ink along most of it except for tight spaces.
Ink message with Starry Sky and stamp in center body of butterfly.
Adhere a 1 x 4 strip of print near bottom of inside.
I hope you enjoyed seeing that messages can be stamped on an image that fits with what you're using on a card. This is the fun of making your own cards. You can make them any way you want. Have fun with it and be creative!
