Christmas Season of Love & Peace

 Greetings!

Pine cones and pine boughs are seen everywhere this time of year in nature, indoor and outdoor decor and of course on cards too!  The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper which is full of prints that coordinate with the Christmas Season stamp set inspired my card today.  This image turned out so great and all the color variation is so easy to do!  Photopolymer stamps take the uncertainty out of lining up your layered images as the stamps are clear so you can see where you're placing it.

The beautiful Wintry 3D embossing folders provide this wonderful pine bough texture so it feels like you are peering through a frosted layer to see the colorful pinecones.  Brushing a little Wink of Stella over the stamped focal point brings a shimmery magic to them.

The message from the Peaceful Deer stamp set of sending love & peace is most fitting for the feel of this card and makes it the perfect message to send to someone all season long.

Here's How It's Made:
Center 2-5/8 circle die side to side and 1/2" down from top of Basic White cardstock panel.  Die cut.  Center 2-3/8 circle die side to side and 1/2" down from top of Evening Evergreen cardstock.  Die cut.  Save the cutout circles for card inside (shown below)
Insert Basic White cardstock panel into pine bough Wintry 3D embossing folder with top half entering into side of emboss folder; place on cutting plate so it will make it through without damaging cardstock.  Emboss.  Place bottom half of Basic White panel into embossing folder side, lined up with previous embossed edge; emboss.
Center Evening Evergreen circle opening inside Basic White circle, adhere.
Ink large of the two smaller pine cone stamps with Crumb Cake, stamp onto Basic White 3 x 3 piece with top of pine cone near center of cardstock.  Re-ink and stamp second pine cone with top edge meeting up with other top edge.  Ink small pine cone stamp with Early Espresso and stamp over Crumb Cake.  Re-ink and repeat with other pine cone.  Ink single pine bough stamp with Evening Evergreen and stamp in between pine cones, stamp again and again without re-inking.  Ink and stamp again, stamping both above and below pine cones until you are satisfied with the image.  Lightly brush over image using Wink of Stella to add shimmer. Center image in circle opening and adhere.
Wrap Evening Evergreen ribbon around lower part of Basic White embossed panel and tie into a bow on left side.
Adhere assembled panel to Soft Succulent card base.
Ink "sending love..." with Early Espresso, stamp onto small Basic White cardstock piece.  Adhere to Early Espresso cardstock piece.  Position over ribbon and adhere using Stampin' Dimensionsals.
Adhere small and medium Decorative Matte Dots in the Evening Evergreen shades near pine cones and on greeting label using the Take Your Pick tool.
The Take Your Pick Tool makes attaching small pieces easy and precise.  Use the Putty Tip for easy grabbing and placement of small embellishments.
