Beauty of the Earth Christmas to Remember

Greetings!

I don't know about you, but every year it seems I get done addressing Christmas/holiday cards and realize there are some new friends that I forgot to add to the list, and I don't have any more cards ready to go.  I need something quick and still lovely and handmade.

The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper came to the rescue!  This paper features prints for every season of the year and the beautiful soft watercolor pines in shades of blue is perfect for this season.  The Christmas to Remember stamp set provides a wonderful array of greetings and sentiments and made the completion of this card quick and easy.  The greeting and message on the inside are both heat embossed in Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder to add an elegant touch.

 You feel like you're in the midst of a fresh snow in the forest with this lovely paper.  A simple greeting is all that's needed, and of course a couple embellishments to give it sparkle and shimmer.

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere printed tree paper to Basic White cardstock panel.  Wrap Silver Simply Elegant trim around assembled panel 3 times and tie in knot with loop.  Adhere to Misty Moonlight card base front.

Ink "merry..." with VersaMark and stamp onto Basic White label piece.  Sprinkle with Silver stampin' emboss powder, shake off excess, set with heat gun.  Attach Foam Adhesive Strips to top and bottom edges of label, center over rows of silver trim to adhere.  (I recommend the adhesive strips as they are thin so they will sit above and below the silver trim to keep your card from getting too thick for standard postage).

Adhere a few  Round Silver Epoxy dots amidst trees.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 2-1/2 x 3-1/2.  Ink sentiment with VersaMark, sprinkle with Silver Emboss Powder and heat set.  Adhere to inside of card.

Adhere a 5-1/2 x 1 strip of watercolor tree print near bottom edge.
