Banner Year simple gift tags or cards

Greetings!

There are times when we need something we can make that's quick, easy and minimal supplies, right.  Today is your lucky day!

This set of 8 adorable gift tags or cards require 2 sheets of 12 x 12 Basic White cardstock, 2 sheets of Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, 1 stamp set, 2 ink colors, the Tailored Tag Punch,  adhesive and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels if you want to add a touch of sparkle.  That's it!

The Banner Year stamp set is a wonderful 29 piece clear photopolymer stamp set that has images to get you through the year.  The images are small and each element is a separate stamp so you can easily create multi-colored images as you can see with the holly leaves and berries, and the bird with a cute hat, etc. The 6x6 Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade are from the Brights Designer Series Paper Assortment and the only scrap left over from each sheet was a 1/2" square!  Getting the most out of a sheet of designer series paper is so satisfying!

Here's How It's Made:

Cut each sheet of Designer Series Paper (DSP) in half so it's 3 x 6, then cut each one down to 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 squares.  This will give you left over pieces for your 1/4 x 2-3/4 strips which you will use for contrast on each card front and inside (picture below).

Adhere DSP squares to front of each card base.  

Ink stamps with Granny Apple Green or Poppy Parade and stamp onto 1-1/2 x 2-1/2  tag pieces to create your images.  Leave a little room at the top of each tag for the small contrasting DSP strip to cover.  Cut the "be merry" and "Christmas Wishes" stamps in between the words.  Ink each word and stamp under image, then ink second word to complete greeting and stamp under first word, leaving enough space at bottom of tag for banner punch angles.

Insert bottom edge of tag into long end of Tailored Tag Punch, center, punch.

Adhere tags onto card fronts, adhere.  Adhere 1/4 x 2-3/4 contrast DSP strip over top of tag.

Attach Red Rhinestone for a little bling.

Here's what the insides look like:

Ink "to: from:" stamp with Poppy Parade and stamp near left edge of inside of card.

Adhere 1/4 x 2-3/4 strip near inside bottom edge.

For a gift card, simply eliminate the to: from: on the inside and write your handwritten note before tucking into the perfectly sized 3 x 3 Basic White envelope (shown on the supplies above)
