It's a festive time of year and with that comes invitations to gatherings where we want to bring something to share. As paper crafters, this gives us the opportunity to add our own special creative touch to any item we bring.
A bottle of bubbly is easily dressed up with a beautiful tag to drape over the neck of the bottle, and the Words of Cheer Bundle provides the perfect message.
The Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Papers (DSP) have such a wonderful array of colors to create a beautiful color palette for this bottle tag.
Adhesive sheets are your best friend when assembling small or detailed die cut pieces!

- Soft Sea Foam, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Polished Pink
- Scraps for holly leaves, pine boughs and small tags

Here's How It's Made:
Die cut out both tags by positioning correct sized tag die on one edge of DSP or Vellum and make sure other end of die is over the edge of the cutting plate and base. Position cutting plate on top of die so it will not cut bottom of label die allowing it to be long. Here's a picture to show what I mean:
You will need to apply pressure to the top cutting plate to help feed it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Place small slot die near top of label and use a sticky note or washi tape to hold die in place while die cutting.
Apply adhesive sheets to the back of the Mossy Meadow cardstock and the Polished Pink cardstock before cutting out the two layers of the word Cheer. Die cut these two layers with adhesive sheet on bottom.
Peel protective sheet off back of the Polished Pink letters and adhere to Mossy Meadow layer.
Die cut out two sets of the little holly leaves from Soft Sea Foam cardstock, pine boughs from Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. Peel off protective layer from back of bottom cheer die and place leaves and boughs randomly along edges. Apply small dots of multipurpose liquid glue to back of leaves and boughs. Adhere to vellum tag.
Apply adhesive to DSP tag in two long strips where you want to position your Faux Linen ribbon. Insert ribbon ends through slot at top of tag and place on top of adhesive strips, making sure loop is at top end of tag. Adhere Vellum tag over ribbon.
Ink "Christmas" in Polished Pink and stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Cut out using small label die. Cut out Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen with same small label die. Stack the three together, placing near top edge of Cheer label. Poke hole through all layers with a sharp tool and insert small round white brad through hole. Press back tabs of brad firmly to flatten. Attach a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel over the top of the brad.
Place ribbon loop over bottle neck, wrap and tie Polished Pink ribbon around white ribbon to tighten loop around bottle neck.
Alternate: This label can also be a beautiful slimline card. Simply cut the loop off the top of the white ribbon to use on a card.
The card base is 9 x 7-1/2, scored and folded at 3-3/4, which fits in a standard #10 envelope. This sample is on a Mint Macaron cardstock base.
