'Tis the Season of Gratitude and the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Papers provide all the beautiful rich tones of this time of year. The gorgeous prints are a perfect backdrop for the Echinacea flowers from the Nature's Harvest Bundle. The richness of these colors is enhanced even more by brushing Wink of Stella® over the entire flower cluster for a beautiful shimmer.
Since this card is a book bind fun fold it needed a Thank You that fit into a 1" wide strip. The Shaded Summer stamp set has the perfect sized Thank You for this card and it was easy to create the Ombre effect . It provides a great parallel to the flower colors!

- card base 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" and 6-3/4", folded at 5-1/2"
- Very Vanilla cardstock
- 4" x 1"

Here's How It's Made:
Ink large flower cluster with Cinnamon Cider, then ink a sponge dauber with Cherry Cobbler and daub over the three flowers. Next, ink a sponge dauber with Blackberry Bliss and daub over flower centers. Give a quick couple breaths over entire stamp to moisten ink and stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
With Wink of Stella brush, brush over images to lightly fill in the colors on the flowers and stems. Dip the tip of your brush onto Bumblebee ink pad to grab ink and fill in leaves and a bit onto the stems also.
Die cut flower cluster.
Apply adhesive to card base in the area between the 5-1/2" and 6-3/4" scored lines, fold at 5-1/2" and press firmly to adhere to back of card base. This creates a book bind type of look. The card opening is now a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" square.
For this next step, I recommend practicing on grid paper first to get your spacing right for this repeat style of stamping.
Ink "Thank You" with Blackberry Bliss and stamp at top of 1" Very Vanilla strip, then stamp again directly below without re-inking. Repeat with Cherry Cobbler ink, and finish at bottom with a "Thank You" in Cinnamon Cider.
Adhere stamped Thank You strip on "book binder" part of card front, centering. Adhere background print onto 4-1/4" square part of card front. Place the three strips of prints at angles and adhere to background print. Adhere die cut flower cluster, centering.
Attach some Artistry Blooms adhesive backed sequins to add even more sparkle.
Here's what the inside looks like:
Cut a 4" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Ink sentiment with Cherry Cobbler, stamp off then stamp onto Very Vanilla square. Ink little bud cluster from the Shaded Summer stamp set with Cherry Cobbler, stamp off and stamp in lower right corner. Ink same cluster with Cinnamon Cider and stamp near first cluster.
Adhere to inside of card.
Cut a 1/4" x 4" strip of print and adhere 1/4" in from left edge of Very Vanilla piece on inside.
