Greetings!
Today's card started as a vague idea floating around in my head. I had seen a card that used a DSP print for the focal point behind the sentiment and I loved the look of it. I didn't have the papers, dies or stamp set that the card used. I love the challenge of taking an idea and seeing what I have to make it with. I knew it needed to be a set of dies that had the same shape in multiple sizes, so I could mat the paper. After some thought, I decided the Countryside Corners dies would be perfect, and I am so pleased with the way it all came together!
Isn't it lovely! After choosing the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper (DSP) print, I knew I wanted some type of plant silhouette on the one side. The simple leafy stalk from the Textured Floral dies fits beautifully with the print, and isn't fussy. After looking at the completed focal point it was easy to see it as a sympathy type card, and the Hope You Know stamp set has just the message for the front as well as a beautiful sentiment to go on the inside.
It seems the one type of card that you need at a moments notice is a card sending comfort or get well wishes, depending on the circumstance, and there is rarely time to whip one up when you need it. I have discovered it is wise to have a few on hand and this card is an easy template to make multiples of. Using a print for the focal point allows each card to be unique, and by switching up the colors of the mat and the leaf stalk, no two will look the same.

Here's How It's Made:
Place 3rd largest Countryside Corners die onto Meandering Meadows DSP to frame part of scene you choose, die cut.
Die cut Blueberry Bushel cardstock with 2nd largest Countryside Corners die. Die cut tall leafy plant from Mossy Meadow cardstock. Adhere DSP print to Blueberry Bushel layer, adhere Mossy Meadow die cut at left edge of DSP print.
Adhere assembled die cut piece to Very Vanilla folded card front. Ink sentiment with Mossy Meadow, stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock piece. Adhere at left edge of card front with Stampin' Dimensionals, overlapping lower part of leafy die cut. Tie bow from vanilla baker's twine, adhere at bottom of sentiment.
Embellish with Brushed Brass Butterflies.
