Softly Sophisticated Tailor Made Tags Appreciation Card

Greetings!

I was making up tags for some gifts today using the Softly Sophisticated stamp set and thought, you know, these tags are so cute that I have to turn one of them into a card!  The tags I made were using colors to match the gift wrap so I had to find a new color scheme for my card.  Looking at the size of the flowers in the stamp reminded me of the flowers on one of the prints from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Papers (DSP).  Yep!  Perfect!

See what I mean.  This stamp has flowers the same size as the flowers on the DSP print, so it really looks great together.  The softness of the Bubble Bath flowers with Old Olive leaves made the color choice very easy.  I tried the Cherry Cobbler ink for the sentiment, but it seemed too dark so Berry Burst ended up being a better choice.  Adding another tag in the Old Olive gives the focal point a little more substance, and the Cherry Cobbler Festive Pearls are just the right size for the middle of these flowers.

Turning a tag into a card is really a simple way to have a fun card.  The Tailor Made Tags die set provides options for tags in four sizes in two styles, both with holes at the top and the hole reinforcements too.  Using the little reinforcements helps so much when threading ribbon or twine through so they don't tear.  This little touch makes a big difference!
