Greetings!
I spent this past weekend at a crafting retreat and had such a wonderful time. So much inspiration and creativity which provides a boatload of new ideas, color combinations, fun folds and more, as well as wonderful conversation, lots of laughter and friendship.
Each of us were given a packet of supplies to make a card if we chose, and then share what we came up with. Each packet was filled with the same items. It's always interesting to see how varied the designs are that each person makes. No two are ever the same. The card I'm sharing today is from that packet of supplies.
The cardstock colors are from the 2022-2024 In Color collection and are Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky. The print is from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Papers (DSP) along with the In Color Pearls. It's a very bright combination so the Basic White pieces are a nice addition to give a little separation between the colors.
I chose to divide the DSP print into 3 strips, cut and mat them with the Sweet Sorbet cardstock and added texture to the Basic White panel with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. The sentiment and the texture stamped behind the sentiment are from the Gorgeously Made stamp set. I laughed when I looked at my photos and realized the words in the center strip are upside - oh well. With all the beautiful vibrant color to this print, the broken, faint type in the background is far from the main feature.
