Delightfully Eclectic Collar Fold Pocket Card

 Greetings!

I recently learned a new fun fold so I have to share it with you! 😊 This fold is a perfect way to show both sides of a piece of Designer Series Paper.  I chose to use a print from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This pack is filled with a great variety of prints in a whole bunch of colors, and it has enough variation to them to find something that will fit for just about any age, occasion and gender.

To get the best use out of the DSP, the height of the card is only 4", instead of the standard 4-1/4.  This is so three of these can be made out of one sheet of DSP with no waste.  For the card inside, the Countryside Corners dies give it a wonderful shape, and are large enough to fill the pocket very nicely.

Isn't it cute!  The little floral print is so sweet, and so fun with the flip side being a large white polka dot on a Crushed Curry background.  It gives it a nice bold touch, and the Night of Navy Bordered ribbon really pops against it.

You can see enough of the inner card to know it says "Happy Birthday" in a nice large font, which is from the Phrases for All stamp set.  This stamp set is awesome!  It has large simple messages, a line stamp, and smaller messages that pair nicely with the large ones, so you can create your own personalized message.  Scroll down to see a view of the inner card shown in its entirety.

Here's How It's Made:

Fold the DSP at the score lines.  Run a strip of Stampin' Seal along bottom edge between the score lines.  On the two ends (which will overlap to form the back seam), run a strip of Stampin' Seal along the edge of each print.  (When they are pressed together, they will overlap so the top of the bottom piece will have adhesive and the bottom of the top piece will have adhesive).  Press bottom and ends together to secure.

Die cut Misty Moonlight cardstock with largest Countryside Corners die and Basic White cardstock with second largest Countryside Corners die.  DO NOT ADHERE TOGETHER YET.

To create message, position stamps onto Clear Block E or Clear Block I.  Use your Grid Paper to help keep everything straight and even.  The little line is tough to get straight, so be patient.  You could stamp each piece separately, but I found it much easier to get the spacing right by putting all the stamps on one block.  Here's how it looks:

Ink stamp with Misty Moonlight and stamp onto Basic White die cut piece.  Adhere to Misty Moonlight die cut piece.

Tie Night of Navy Bordered ribbon into a bow.  Adhere to center front of pocket.
