Season of Chic Birthday Wishes in Shades of Blue

Greetings!

The Season of Chic bundle was one of the first bundles I purchased this last year and I'm thrilled that it's continuing for at least another year.  However, it will only be available with the 10% bundle discount through May 1st, so if you haven't gotten it yet, my advice is to get it before the release of the new catalog to take advantage of the bundle discount.  This bundle has an assortment of images to get you through the entire year,  accompanied with a nice variety of messages.

For today's card I utilized much of the bundle, from the stamps for the flowers and the sentiment, to the beautiful die cut flower outlines and leaves, and the fantastic textured cutwork piece shown in the background.

Notice the subtle embossed, softly rounded edge of the piece the sentiment is stamped onto.  This die from the All That dies is actually rectangular shaped so the die cutting needed a little customizing to reduce it to a square.  All the details are shown below in the instructions.

Here's How It's Made:
Ink flower stamp with Tahitian Tide, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, repeat for 2nd flower.  Ink flower outline stamp with Orchid Oasis, stamp onto Tahitian Tide flower.  Repeat with 2nd flower.  Die cut both flowers.

Die cut 2 leaves of both sizes from Parakeet Party cardstock.  Die cut 2 smaller detailed flowers twice each from Tahitian Tide cardstock.  Die cut cutwork panel piece from Very Vanilla cardstock.

Adhere Starry Sky panel to Pool Party card front at an angle.  Adhere die cut Very Vanilla piece onto Starry Sky panel.  Apply adhesive to back of each stamped die cut flower and press 2 die cut flowers and 2 leaves to adhesive, positioning to create cluster.  Repeat with 2nd stamped, die cut flower.  Apply more adhesive to backside of cluster and die cut flower, press one cluster near upper left panel corner and other at lower right.

Adhere ribbons at angles in center of panels, trim excess.

Ink "wishing you..." with Orchid Oasis, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Align rounded corner rectangle die near left side of sentiment, die cut.

Position rounded corner rectangle near right side of sentiment, run through Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine just far enough to cut the edge.

Adhere to center of card, over ribbons with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Embellish with Fine Sparkle adhesive-backed Gems.  Note that I put a small gem in the center of each stamped flower, as well as a few scattered on the Starry Sky cardstock panel.
