Simply Succulents Stampin' Blends colored bouquet

 Greetings!

Do you ever see a card that you really like, however, you don't have that particular stamp set or bundle?  That happens to me often, so I challenge myself to see what items I can use that I already have.  This card is a card that I made when I attended the World Card Making Day online event that Stampin' Up! hosted.  This card's main technique is showing how to color using the Stampin' Blends, but I didn't have the stamp set that was being used.  I searched through my inventory and decided the Simply Succulents large bouquet stamp would work quite well for the challenge.

Succulents come in a variety of colors, so I exercised my creative license with the colors used to create this bouquet.

I love the softness of the Stampin' Blends, and they're so easy to work with!  The various colors and shades are made to blend together easily, as the alcohol in the markers gives it the magic for blending without shredding your cardstock.  When using the Stampin' Blends, it's best to use the Memento™ ink as it won't smear, so your outline stamped edges stay nice and crisp.  The blends also work great for coloring pearls, rhinestones and gems whatever color you need, as I did with some of the pearls.

I love the Simply Succulents stamp set and coordinating Potted Succulents dies!  There is a beautiful variety of stamps and the coordinating dies have great accent plant pieces which I used for the solid greenery peeking out above and below the bouquet.  The label is also from these dies, and it's just one of the uniquely beautiful labels that is part of this die set.
