A Framed & Festive Noel

Greetings!

Today's card is a very simple layout that is jazzed up with a few quick touches.  Whenever I'm looking for a little something extra to add to my background layer, one of my favorites to reach for is the Stitched Greenery die.  I love this die!  The stitched leaves add a beautiful subtle touch to your background and compliments so many different stamp sets.

The gorgeous Fitting Florets Collection, which is an early release with limited edition items included, is quickly becoming my new favorite collection.  One of the limited edition items is the Framed & Festive stamp set, which is comprised of holiday greetings, and is only available from November 1 to January 4, while supplies last.  Along with this fabulous stamp set are the Fitting Florets Designer Series Papers, which are designed to take you through the entire year with their beautiful colors and prints.  I took two of these prints and made them even more Christmassy by coloring in the berries and adding a dot of color in every other white space of the gingham print.  A little swoosh of Real Red ribbon brings it all together for a very festive card.

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss Soft Succulent panel with Stitched Greenery die, adhere to card front.

Color in berries on DSP with Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blend.  Add a dot of color to every other white square in the gingham DSP, alternating each row, with the writing tip end of the Dark Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blend.

Ink "Noel" with Evening Evergreen and stamp onto Basic White cardstock.

Adhere gingham and berry DSPs to card front as shown above.  Apply a strip or two of Stampin' Seal adhesive to back of Basic White greeting piece and adhere ribbon, folding it back and forth in a zigzag pattern.  Adhere greeting to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Adhere a 3-1/4 x 2-1/8 colored berries DSP panel along left edge of inside of card.  

Ink "May this season..." with Evening Evergreen and stamp to right of DSP.
