I'm so excited to share with you a card made from the new Fitting Florets Collection which is available to purchase beginning November 1!
One of my favorite perks of being a demonstrator is that we were able to order this collection a month early so we can play with it ahead of time. Yay!
I don't typically share cards on my blog before you can order all the supplies, but it's only a few more days until you can get your hands on this collection, and it's just so darn beautiful!
OVALS are back! We have been wanting some beautiful ovals to work with, and this collection met the challenge! This set includes three oval dies with beautiful detailing providing fantastic framing and layering options.
Today's card features a lovely oval frame as well as showcasing some of the elements that are included in the dies and the stamp set. The focal point is layered onto one of the simple prints that are part of the fabulous Fitting Florets Designer Series Papers in this collection.
Gather Your Supplies:

- Old Olive cardstock
- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- scraps for die cuts
- Mossy Meadow cardstock
- 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 panel
- Basic White Thick cardstock
- 3 x 4
- Basic White cardstock
- scraps for die cut flowers and spray
- Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere Fitting Florets DSP Polished Pink print panel to Mossy Meadow cardstock panel, adhere to card base.
Die cut oval from Thick Basic White cardstock. Ink "so lucky to call you" with Mossy Meadow and stamp onto center oval die cut. Clean stamp well, then ink "friend" with Polished Pink and stamp below first part of message. Ink small spray with Mossy Meadow and stamp near upper left of oval. Adhere to card front.
Ink small flower stamp with Polished Pink and stamp two flowers on Basic White cardstock, die cut. Ink small spray with Mossy Meadow, stamp and die cut. Die cut Old Olive cardstock with long leafy sprig die.
Adhere oval frame to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals (I used the zigzag side pieces as they curve around the edge nicely and are the right width), leaving an opening for the Sprig Trinket to fit under the frame. Adhere die cut leafy sprig, small spray and flower onto frame, positioning so flower covers the stems of all three leafy pieces.
Embellish with Polished Pink opal rounds.
