Greetings!
The Splendid Thoughts Bundle is such a gorgeous set filled with tropical inspired plants and dies. The fill images for the plant outlines are not made to match up, so it gives it a very artsy vibe. I wanted my plants to have a fun background and the Chic Dies had just the right die as well as the Texture Chic Designer Series Papers (DSP) giving the perfect color palette too. To bring another layer of texture to this card I also used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder on the background layer. When it was all put together, I decided it would be a great card for sending healing thoughts, so the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set provided the perfect message for the outside as well as the inside. Now it's all set to send off to that special someone who needs a little extra healing.

Here's How It's Made:
Ink round leaf outline stamp with Evening Evergreen and stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Ink round shape fill stamp with Soft Succulent, stamp off once, stamp over Evening Evergreen image. Re-ink, stamp off, and stamp again onto Evening Evergreen image. Die cut with corresponding die.
Stamping off is a technique in which you stamp onto grid paper once or twice before stamping onto cardstock. This gives a softer color to your image.
Ink large leaf stamp with Bermuda Bay and stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Ink leaf fill stamp with Pool Party and stamp over Bermuda Bay image. Die cut with corresponding die.
Die cut Blackberry Bliss cardstock with small 3-leaf detailed die.
Ink "Sending Healing Thoughts your way" with Bermuda Bay onto Basic White cardstock. Trim down to a 3/4" x 2-1/4", then cut back a small angle on the right side.
Die cut Texture Chic print with open grid die from Chic Dies.
The Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip makes cleaning out all the small spaces in detailed die cuts a breeze! Simply leave the die on the paper/cardstock after die cutting it, place onto the foam mat and brush over die. This easily removes all the negative pieces from the die cut piece.
Emboss Pool Party cardstock panel with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to Evening Evergreen card base front.
Adhere open grid DSP to embossed panel (run 2-3 lines of adhesive on center area of embossed panel as this will be covered up with die cut plants), then adhere the three die cut plants on top. See picture below for placement.
